The principle of pressure swing adsorption for hydrogen production:
Under certain pressure, using an adsorption bed composed of various adsorbents such as activated carbon, silica gel, molecular sieve, and alumina, the impurity components in various hydrogen sources such as methanol cracking gas, ammonia runaway gas, catalyst dry gas from oil refineries, shift gas, water gas, and semi-water gas are selectively adsorbed under pressure. The hydrogen that is difficult to adsorb is output as product gas from the outlet of the adsorption tower, thereby achieving the purpose of purifying hydrogen.
